Govt. Women’s Polytechnic, Bokaro a premier technical institution located in the one the most important industrial cities of the tribal zone of Jharkhand was established in 1986 to cater the emerging need of technicians in streams like Computer Science & Engg. Instrumentation & Control, Information Technology, Interior Decoration & Design, Modern Office Practice. The institute is spread over in sprawling 10.93 acres newly acquired campus with 8250.03 Sq meters built up area.
