Purpose : The purpose of this plan is to provide financial help to the scheduled tribe students who are enrolled for higher technical education outside the State in Engineering and Medical colleges.

Structure: Within this plan students are supposed to get a scholarship of 12 months’ tuition fees admission fees, examination fees and other University fees but it does not include the caution money.

Process: There is a time to time advertisement in the daily newspapers by the Office of the Tribal Welfare Commissioner. Only after proper securitization of the received application forms, the amount is directly sent to the principal of the concerned college of the deserving candidates. Till date 1035 students have benefited from this plan. There is a proposal to continue this plan for the next financial year too.
